This is my second year working in the Coe lab and it has been a challenging, exciting, and impactful experience to say the least. As an undergraduate, I have had the fortune of participating in salient and novel research investigating Syntrichia physiology, which has cemented my desire to pursue research as a career. I have greatly enjoyed working with Dr. Coe, who has shown me both how successful a semi-independent progress-oriented lab dynamic can be, and that having nice speakers in a lab has the potential to double the amount of time you spend there. Outside of the Coe lab, catch me climbing, playing mandolin, or making some handmade shoes!
