Undergraduates assisting on the Dimensions Project
Carmen Lee
Now a post-bac with her BS from UNLV, Carmen helped with both lab and field work related to the Dimensions project. She spent a lot of time working under the hot sun in the Desert National Wildlife Refuge (DNWR) helping Theresa Clark set up field sensors and cameras to monitor the microclimate and hydration cycles of Syntrichia caninervis.
Carmen has learned a lot about research and has confirmed her interest in field ecology. She will be pursuing graduate school in this area of research this coming year!
Alexander Russell
Now a post-bac with his BS from UNLV, Alex has been helping Theresa Clark with both field and lab work as well. Below, he is working at the DNWR helping install microclimate sensors.
